  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 medium fresh lemons, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 12 inches in diameter.
  3. Spread dollops of ricotta cheese over the dough, leaving space at the edges.
  4. Arrange the lemon slices artfully on top of the ricotta.
  5. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the crust is golden brown.
  7. Remove from oven and garnish with torn basil leaves and grated Parmesan while hot.
